Special Educational Needs at Wollaston Primary School

At Wollaston Primary we are very proud of our inclusive ethos.  As such, our school is made up of children with a wide range of abilities and we believe that over the years many children with SEN and/or disabilities have enjoyed their time at our school where they have thrived, made good progress and have been well prepared for the next stage in their education.

Should you have any questions regarding SEN provision at Wollaston Primary School, please email Miss Pullin at alison.pullin@wps.inmat.org.uk, Mrs Green at katie.green@wps.inmat.org.uk or Mrs Coates at trisha.coates@wps.inmat.org.uk

Provision

Miss Alison Pullin is our SENDCO and she closely monitors how all our children with SEND re progressing. Our aim is that children with SEND achieve their full potential just like every other child in school. This is achieved through the use of Individual Education Plans where appropriate, meetings with teachers and parents, provision of specialist resources, accessing specialist support and targeted interventions that meet a child’s individual needs.

Children with SEN and/or disabilities are fully included in all school activities including after school clubs, trips and school shows/productions.

Accessibility

All areas of our building and school grounds are fully accessible to all, including wheelchair access.

For further details read our accessibility plan found in the documents listed on this page
